Advanced Handheld Head Injury Criterion Measurement

The HIC is the ultimate solution for handheld Head Injury Criterion (HIC) measurement, designed with precision and durability in mind.

Housed in a robust milled aluminum chassis, HIC features a calibratable triaxial accelerometer (10 mV/g) for accurate acceleration measurement across all three axes. In addition, an integrated MEMS-based 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope deliver precise height and orientation data for each drop test.

At its core, HIC is powered by a modern ARM processor that calculates both drop height and HIC values in real time. The device evaluates the quality of each drop within 100 ms of impact, providing instantaneous feedback to the on-board OLED screen.

The full data from each drop is automatically logged to onboard storage and can be streamed in real-time via Wi-Fi to a connected PC for further analysis.

Designed for field flexibility, HICPRO runs on four standard AA batteries, allowing for quick, tool-free power replacement- wherever your testing takes you.
